Tipico is a product organization at its core. All of our functions are aligned towards delivering the best end-to-end product experience to our customers. Our product and technology teams work hand-in-hand to advance the development of our products and services. We work together with a great deal of decision-making freedom, and a high degree of flexibility in a network of agile teams.

Our focus

Our focus is constantly on the sports fan, and so on the customer benefit of our products. All our processes and workflows are directed towards the outcome. Our developers operate self-reliantly within the organization and are assigned to various teams. Within their assigned areas of competence, these teams bear the responsibility for the continuous development of Tipico Products.

Our product

Our product is available at any time online and mobile via the Tipico App or the Tipico Website, as well as offline in one of our 1,300 and counting Tipico Shops located in Germany and Austria. Around 180 bookmakers ensure that we can respond to current sports happenings right around the clock. This is how Tipico offers sports fans attractive odds and the most enthralling live betting experience. And all of this for more than 30 types of sport, for up to 250,000 live sporting events per year, where Tipico enables betting during the live action.

To create the best possible prerequisites our organization follows an agile product development philosophy. We shun rigid hierarchies. Our product and technology experts are organized in scrum teams and tribes along our product areas and customer segments. Scrum teams are self-organized working groups, which behave self-reliantly and assume an entrepreneurial mindset. All scrum teams working on the same product feature, form a tribe. That means that rather on projects, our focus lies consequently on the product and the customer benefit it brings. Our tribes set the customer value as their benchmark and take full ownership of the product.
