- Tipico achieves Silver in the latest EcoVadis Sustainability Rating
- Result places Tipico among the top 15% of companies globally
- Recognition follows the launch of Tipico’s Sustainability Strategy 2030
Tipico Group Ltd. has been awarded a Silver Medal in the latest EcoVadis Sustainability Rating, placing the company among the top 15% of companies assessed by EcoVadis over the previous 12 months. The Silver Medal marks a step up from Tipico’s previous EcoVadis assessments, when the company received Bronze.
From Bronze to Silver
Tipico first received an EcoVadis Bronze Medal in 2023. The latest Silver Medal represents the next level of recognition of the company’s efforts and provides an independent benchmark of Tipico’s sustainability management.
EcoVadis assesses companies across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement and evaluates the quality of a company’s sustainability management system based on its policies, actions and reporting. EcoVadis medals are based on a company’s percentile rank compared with all companies assessed by EcoVadis over the previous 12 months. As a result, the score required for each medal is not fixed but is regularly adjusted as the overall performance of assessed companies improves.
Tipico’s advancement to Silver therefore reflects measurable progress within an increasingly competitive benchmark.
Proof of successful long-term strategy
The new rating follows the publication of Tipico’s 2025 Sustainability Report and the launch of its Sustainability Strategy 2030, which sets measurable targets across three areas particularly relevant to Tipico: player protection, people and climate.
Among its key ambitions are further strengthening its commitment to responsible business practices,becoming an employer of choice, and driving meaningful environmental progress. Tipico’s latest Sustainability Report also applies the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) ahead of mandatory implementation.
